1989. Toured several food processing plants in Turkey, including a dairy plant, an integrated meat processing plant, and an aquaculture facility in Izmir, and the Marmara Scientific and Technical Research Institute in Istanbul.

1989. Invited Dr. Atilla Alpbaz, Dean of the School of Aquatic Resources in Ege University. He visited Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department, and presented a seminar "Fish Farming in Turkey". November 3.

1987. Hosted Drs. Kalra and Kurdiya, two visiting scientists from India on August 26 and 27.
